"Great course! I have some experience with BIM through work, but I still found this course extremely helpful and I would recommend it to anyone transitioning into Revit. All the resources out there are focused on building/architecture and this helped fill in some of the information cracks that weren’t readily available for Landscape Architects."

This course tutorial is for anyone who wants to create sites and landscapes in Autodesk Revit (building information modeling software).
You can learn how to model and manage a BIM landscape, using out-of-the box Revit tools; no add-ins or scripting involved.
Learn the Hidden Potential of Revit in the Landscape
- Understand and learn how to use Revit
- Learn common modeling methods for the landscape
- Apply efficient workflows for managing a landscape model
Revit is being used increasingly by landscape architects to design and document projects with BIM deliverables. This course shows how you can apply Revit to the realm of landscape architecture.
Overview
With a brief introduction to the software, even a beginner can be modeling in Revit within minutes. This course is ideal for the busy professional who wants to learn Revit at their own pace.

Your Instructor
Lauren is the founder and author of landarchBIM, which is currently one of the only online resources for BIM and Revit in landscape architecture. LandarchBIM aims to close this gap within the AEC industry by educating landscape architects and other allied professionals on how they can use Revit to create BIM sites and landscapes. With both education and experience in the field of landscape architecture, Lauren fully understands the requirements and challenges faced by landscape architects trying to use Revit.
She is a graduate from Ball State University and holds a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture, which is a five-year professional degree from a fully accredited Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) program. She has extensive first-hand experience working with landscapes in Revit and over 8 years of experience in AutoCAD. At her previous position, Lauren successfully led the landscape group in their transition from AutoCAD to Revit, developing workflows, standards, project templates, and content all specific to landscape architecture. With several years experience working at a multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm, she also understands how to collaborate effectively across all disciplines, including architecture, interiors, structure, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
